Current waiting line for Kodiaq

Featured Replies

Hello to all of you. I just ordered Skoda Kodiaq and my local dealer said there is a waiting line for more than 7 months in Slovenia for a vehicle with petrol engine. How long is waiting line in your country? Anyone just ordered petrol one and have the date of delivery yet? I don`t know how will I manage to wait 7 months to get this beauty, so I hope the process will speed up and I will get it sooner :)

No idea of the waiting lines, but I’d thought you’d like an arty pic with the frost on the car to look at over the next 7mths!

Are they your initials or are you really referring to your car as a toilet!? :D

Is that for both petrol engines, or just the 2.0 TSI?

The 2.0 is rumoured to be close to achieving WLTP approval so there will be some backlog to clear.

I was always under the impression that mainland Europe suffered much longer lead times than the UK?

Hope you got the heated windshield.

Could be both (especially by the time the kids have finished with the car in the summer!). Look at part of my name - it will explain why.....

7 months sounds a bit drastic for the 1.5 TSI and the 2.0 TSI hasn't had WLTP approval yet according to ADAC. I just ordered a 2.0 TDI 190 due to the unknown timeline for the 2.0 TSI.

Strangely, my dealer were able to quote on a 2.0 TSI with 2019 options last week, so maybe Skoda have started building them again?

2.0 TSI is supposedly approved...

Yes, 2.0 TSI is approved and cars are shipping. I ordered in August (2.0TSI Scout) and I've got a provisional delivery date of 1st week April.

I’ve orderd an SEL 1.5 DSG at the start of this month and the waiting time looks like it will be 5 Months

I was told yesterday (and saw it on the dealers screen) that order books are now open in UK for the 2.0 TSI and expected delivery times have dropped to 12 weeks. Hooray!

We've been looking at ordering the same and being told 14-16 weeks depending on the dealer

Possibly 1.5TSI waiting times will be reducing if the VW Brand salespeople can not assure customers there will be no issues with the new cars and how they drive,

or if salespeople continue to say not related to the cars they are selling / supplying and just some internet myth.

It might not be an issue with New Factory Builds now, but then Skoda, VW. Audi, Seat could make a Press Release on which have issues and how they have now addressed those and the issue is resolved.

I believe it’s just the manual that’s affected?

That is correct, you believe that,

and VW Group might agree, but those having issues with 1.5TSI EVO with DSG's would disagree.

Best ask the question of your Sales person or their boss in writing.   Surely they will put a signature next to their conformation that there are no issues with Post WLTP Certified

1.5TSI DSG's  and they confirmed that with Skoda CZ & VW Germany.

2 liter TIS 4wd on order since May. Was built in November, arrived at the dealer last week. Waiting for the alarm but should have it

2.0 Tsi engine now showing on the Skoda UK configurator. Typical Skoda UK though as still showing 5 seat models that have been discontinued according to letter posted on other forum. Also the WLTP figures shown are in metric so hard compare to previous 180 Tsi.

No - this German Kodiaq forum has a multi-page thread specifically regarding the Kodiaq 1.5 TSI 150hp DSG having problems:                                                                    (To translate in Google - simply right-click & translate to English)

Bumbags!

Order 15. TSI DSG SE 5 seat with ACC no build week from dealer as of yet

My dealer had an MY20 2.0 TSI DSG 4x4 delivered this week - I test drove it yesterday with 7 miles on the clock.

Vindis. It was an SE L.

Ah shame - thought it could have been my cancelled order finally making its way over.
