Superb V6 Questions

Featured Replies

I'm looking at upgrading from a 2010 2.0 TDi 4x4 Elegance Estate to a 2012 V6 elegance estate and I have a few questions.

1. Apart from the DSG Mechatronic Unit and the Haldex Pump (which I know that some people have had trouble with), is there anything to do with the engine that I need to know about and look for??

2. What features come with KESSY?? I know that some models have the 'virtual pedal' feature with the boot but I'm not sure whether this vehicle would. It has got the L&K Lux Package fitted to it.

3. How hard is it to fit front parking sensors?? Our current car has park assist (which we don't use) but this one only has rear sensors and the wife likes the front sensors as they help her manoeuvre and park it.

Many thanks

1. I don't think there's major worries. Mine seems good still at 113k. I did find the brake fluid needed changing - not sure it had ever been done. Poor breaking is quite noticeable on country roads to me as it's both fairly powerful and heavy...

2. Mine is non-FL. As far as I'm aware it's just keyless entry/exit and seat/mirror position associated with the key. You might get more with L&K - mine is elegance.

3. Mine had them from factory.

Cheers,

Steve
