Kodiaq in Business Grey Metallic - images?

Featured Replies

Hi - am currently about to order a Kodiaq and we are dithering between Quartz and Business Grey. We have seen a few in Quartz and it looks good - but haven't really seen any in Business grey.

Are there any images out there you guys might upload to help us - plus any ownership experience of scratching/ease of cleaning or whatever!

Cheers!

Welcome to Briskoda!

Loads on Google.

The top right image appears to be a thread on here...

Grey is great for hiding the dirt, and light scratching, but it's just a little um, dull :D

You can't really tell from the cartoon like renderings on their online car configurator.  I always look for real photos by checking out cars on ebay or autotrader etc where you can filter your search results by colour.

I have one in business grey, it is an edition not a sportline trim and I think it looks good, i wanted quartz grey but SWIMBO prevailed, I had to give in since I was bringing her into the skoda ecosystem.

That said, I've only washed it once since delivery on 15/12/2018, I guess it does a decent job masking dirt.

Not noticed any scratch yet so either there is none or I cant see them.

See attached a pix.

Cheers for the images and info so far :) Definitely having seen Quartz grey cars in the wild we stopped relying on the on-line configurator to guide us - as those images really didn’t seem true to life. Quartz is a great colour but has a green tint to it once you see it outside - versus the official shots of it where it looks to be straight down the middle dark grey metallic. I guess the clue is in the name!

Leaning towards business grey more and more - fun game choosing though!

Business Grey style avec ajout de chromes sur portes et pare-chocs

Is the chrome on the front bumper and bottom of the doors a factory fit option in France, a dealer fit option, or did you add them yourself?

Le chrome sur le pare-chocs avant et le bas des portières sont-ils une option d’ajustement en usine en France, une option d’ajustement pour le concessionnaire ou les avez-vous ajoutés vous-même?

Judging by the Kodiaq badge on the door, they all came from China, through Ali Express

Je les ai montés moi même mais j’ai recoupé le chrome  pour le pare-choc avant

Roughly translated:

I mounted them myself but I cut the chrome for the front bumper

Thought I should update things - since I got such a good response at the start!

Did in the end go for Business Grey - L and K 1.5DSG ordered - due end May/Early June.

Colours are obviously such a personal thing but that's the one we liked the most for a car we plan to keep for a long time.

Cheers!
