How much should i sell it?

Featured Replies

Hello most of you know my car
It is a Felicia 1.3L MPI 68PS Sport Line colour black

With LPG
It has power steering and ac as well as sport line features(alloy wheels,anti-roll bar powered windows and mirrors)
115.000 Km driven
I am not going to state anything else as i want your true opinion
Prices here vary a lot so i want someone who has experience with these cars to state an objective price i should look for

There is no such thing as an objective/right price. Prices vary by country, and I don't see why you assume we know so well your car or your local car market.

Furthermore, I don't feel you will accept our opinion simply because you are highly attached to your car for "sentimental" reasons, quantity of work and care included. No buyer will accept to buy that subjective value. You will feel robbed and will not sell while the buyer will go for a cheaper car.

First of all that was a niiicceee answer
Secondly i know prices vary by BUT there is always a base quote (like based on certain parameters) or i may as well be wrong

Thirdly i really dont know how you managed to figure out my "feelings" for this car (witch are totally on point btw) and i would like to know your method
But nevertheless i would not disagree with anyone's opinion thats why i am asking :tongueout:
Right so if i can deduce an advice from what you told me is to really go with the flow of the market right ??

I went once in Potos, Thassos and I met a local that had a similar car. Hearing I have a Felicia too, he showed me his car and described everything he did for "her". I have recognized the same enthusiasm in your description.

I'd say you'll know the price when you'll meet the right buyer. You'll sell the car only to someone that knows many things about Felicia and who will promise to take good care of her.

Hi chaps,

Usually when you get to this point, it is said that you may have more car than money.  That means you won´t receive as much cash as your car might do for you. And the difference is even bigger when you have a well maintained and pampered car. As Ricardo said it depends on the buyer. Some people (a few)appreciate that care and history of the car.  Obviously some markets were and are more receptive for some models, availability of parts and reliability... all that  counts.

What you must do is look for similar cars and compare them to yours. Try to mix the qualifying points such kilometers, number of owners, maintenance, general appearance and some equipment; after that surely you will get that base price.

Can you find any similar cars for sale on Greek car sites or eBay? eBay also has the facility to view completed sales. These may give you an idea of what people are prepared to pay for your car model in your area.

In the UK, there are two books that list the guide prices of used cars. They're called Glass' and Parker's. Are there similar guides in Greece?

Yes this what i planned to do originally compare it to similar cars
But there is a catch there is such car in all of the greek online used car market place
For example you see cars going for 2k that do have all the "amenities" mine has but for example they dont have LPG or they are crashed so on an so forth
A truly similar car  is yet to be found
And only if i find a truly similar car can i properly adjust my price any other method fall under the category of guesstimation

I actually study in the UK as of right now so i am looking at the local market aswell but Felicias are nowhere to be seen

Maybe around 1500-1000 euro, not more

Interesting i guess it would sell quickly at that price

In Colombia you may found used Felicias around the same equivalent amount in Euro.  Lets say 1500 up to 1800Euro.  Yo can check colombian ads at www.olx.com.co  or www.tucarro.com.co.  1 Euro es around  Colombian peso $3500.

The seller can ask for that money. It is a whole different matter if he gets that money. The car should be flawless in terms of rust/painting/accidents. Only a buyer who has a passion for Felicia will pay that money.

for 115000 km on the clock, and if the car doesn't have any mechanicals issue, it will be hard to finde something else in that price segment. Plus its a 1.3 engine. Thats a greate one .

Not exactly I said moderate felicia examples I did not say cars like mine different trim and stuff

It was pretty generalized answer

We can go on for ever with this topic without any result. Just sell the car and tell us the true price you got.
