Lowering a non VRS Fabia

Featured Replies

Have done many searches but no definitive answers found.

I understand the Fabia VRS has a -15mm drop over a standard Fabia and many VRS owners with the 16" alloys have dropped an additional -25mm giving a total drop of -40mm.

Would I get away with a straight -40mm drop on my Fabia which is running 17" wheels with 205/40 tyres or would I be better with a -30mm drop?

Hi mate,

I'm selling my vRS Springs if your interested, only covered 7k and are cleaned up like new. As you say they drop 15mm but keep the OEM look and my dealer (dont know the validity of their claim) said you won't invalidate your warranty because it's a Skoda part. They will also firm up the ride and improve the handling aswell as looks, especially on your 17's.

Get back to me if your interested.

Chris.

Doh!

They'll happily go lower than 30mm. ;) Those wheels will fit inside the arches OK, even up to 70mm+ lower.
