Brrrr! Don't think she'll enjoy starting up this morning!

Felt guilty, not washing it since before Christmas, so gave the old girl some TLC this morning, just as she ticked past 160,000 miles...

It'll be filthy again about this time on Monday :D

she looks well for the mileage

Still looks good. Bought Superb SE new in March 2009 and often wonder how many miles it would have on the clock now nearly 10 years later. Probably around 150,000 miles by now. It was only 3 months old when it did it's first tour of Scotland. 1,500 miles in 5 days and 600 miles per tank from the 138bhp diesel.

MISSING WORD

Looks like new, such a handsome car

Snap those tyres on our Yeti. As far as tyres go they are about as aesthetic as they get

You photo-shopped that, you liar.  Just because Superb owners tend to be older doesn't mean were all droolers!

Seriously though - she looks fantastic, never mind the age and the mileage. That just makes it more impressive.

I hasn't washed mine since November. Did it last week. Lasted 2 bloody hours (and I have Cappuccino - normally takes a few weeks or throwing a shovel of sh1te at it to look filthy). I swear, I'm only gonna wash it this month to make sure there is still wax and paint underneath.  The weather here has been so bad I think all the crud on the car was actually acting as a sealant and UV filter.   A bit like Eval Longoria wearing a mud pack (so if it is wet underneath, it will only be in the right places...).

I stumbled across this stuff, Autosmart Aqua Rince, which I think is essentially liquid wax?

After rinsing the soap off the car, I spray this stuff onto the wet paint and then rinse straight off. It beads the water instantly.

Makes the car so easy to dry and the beading lasts for ages.

You can really dilute it down, this 5 litre tub has lasted me almost a year.

I use the Autoglym equivalent but buy it from the traders market as it is far cheaper. It is good though.
