I am definitely going to need a clutch upgrade ASAP

Be prepared for a hefty bill ;) - I was up at Racingline in MK a few weeks ago, and discussed the Sachs clutch / stage 2 option (although likely will stick on S1... I can get to illegal speeds far too quickly already).

Not noticed the clutch slipping as much now, but then have tempered my driving style to the steady starts and using a lot more of the rev range. Depending on how long you're looking at until buying, I'd try and do the same.

Where are you looking at taking it for fitting? Would only recommend specialist VAG tuning places IMHO :)

I've just put a post similar to this. I've just had some work done on my car yesterday, hiflow cat, custom exhaust, intake and stage 2 remap. The car is now putting out about 320bhp, but the clutch is totally useless. I've had my car 3 years and done 18k miles. It's basically brand new and I can't understand why the clutch is slipping so badly. Not sure if the garage screwed it. Or whether the torque is just too much.
