favorit rally please help

hello people !

I admit I have only joined the forum to try and get as much information as possible on a skoda favorit rally car that I have just purchased.

any information on the history of this car would be great.

the car will be returning to rallying next year.

please help me find more information .

Yes I do , with a shed load of brand new genuine parts ! But I was trying to get some of the history of this car in particular.  I hope your not going to tell me something bad ???

Also any works cars information and modification specs would be very helpful.

Don't think that was a works car, more likely to have been a Skoda Trophy car.

where there are several people who have knowledge of a lot of the past cars. Might be worth joining that and asking the question.

I can tell you that a common modification was to swap the saloon gearbox and final drive for the one from the Estate as that had a slightly lower gearing, so gave better acceleration.

I never thought it would be a works car ! I understood it to be a trophy car , just wondered if anyone knows any more about its previous competition history !

Welcome fellow ex Trophy car  owner...... I was tempted to go and look at that car up in Cumbria, its lack of any history that I (we) could find put me off a bit and then the ex works car I have recently bought came up for sale in Inverness so that was bought instead.
