Does anyone have a clever way to get CDs out of a multi changer unit (In L&K Octavia 2004)  that is not working? (No power to it) .

I am selling the car but want to retrieve my CDs without breaking the unit which may be repairable.

Im not familiar with the cd changer, but...

Iirc there is a way of putting power directly to the unit.

If you you do a search it should get a result, might be quite old, my memory of the last time this was asked is about 5yrs ago..

On the 12 pin disconnect for the CD changer, if you put +12v on Pin 6 (red wire on car side of the plug) & a ground on Pin 3 (brown wire on car side of the plug) that will power up the changer and then you should be able to eject the CD cassette
