Hazard triangle

Featured Replies

While having a look round my car this afternoon did I spy in the boot a place for a foldable hazard triangle...… back of the boot, bumper area .

Standard item in countries where law requires them.

Not the UK though.

Thanks, I thought I'd been done. Umbrella's there.

Pricey! I’ve seen them cheaper on eBay or AliExpress.

I know, only for reference

Yeah I have one stored there too but had to purchase it myself.

A warning triangle is dirt cheap to buy, between £4 & £10 for a posher one.

Do you really need one of those flashing things when you have hazard lights or you can get a lantern that does the same thing?

In Sweden were  I live it's required to have a triangle. The flashing lantern I have for extra safety if I need to stop in the pitch black or sun in your face situations. I place the triangle about 100 m away from my car and the lantern another 50 m.

Then I hopefully have got most drivers attention.
Some numnuts still use their phone while driving so no guaranties for anything.
