Hankook Ventus Sport K104 - 205/50/R17

Featured Replies

Anyone running these?

The price on mytyres (no connection) is

Test results for these come out the same as Goodyear Eagle F1's...

So I tried them and compared them...

Goodyears were quieter

Goodyears gripped better

Goodyears lasted better (Hankook's scrubbed the edges)

The Hankook's were OK, but had no grip on damp surfaces - seemed to re-gain grip when t got wetter tho!!!

I won't say don't get them, but I will say that they're not in the same league as the F1's anyway, despite the results!

have used 4 hanook k104 tyres now for 8 months got them from my-tyres uk too. was a bit worried at first like you cos of price difference between other leading brands but hand on heart had no probs good grip all round you need to push a little hard to get them to let go in wet ,wear rate seems equal to my dunlop sports i had last so give them a go.

I swear by these tyres, I haven't used them on my Octy yet but had them on my Alfa 145. They look good on have excellent grip and poise, the level of feedback is excellent. I once couldn't get any and my supplier managed to get me some Yoko A509's I went back in a week and swapped them as they were much better. The only downside to these tyres are they are a bit vocal on the limit, which can be a little unnerving to begin with until you realise that they aren't going to let go unless you get too daft
