Disobedient Folding mirrors

Featured Replies

Hey folks, new to the forums and hoping to find a little help, been searching the posts but no luck so far. I have 2015 elegance and the mirrors have decided to throw a tantrum, owned the car for a year and have “fold when parked” enabled, no problems until recently, the mirrors would fold in when locked and fold back out when unlocking the car, recently the driver mirror will not do either and the passenger mirror seems to fold out when I unlock the car then back in on its own with the ignition, it might decide to fold out a few minutes after but it might not. I’m not convinced the driver mirror is not working at all as it did fold once a few days ago,

main in question is is there a way to reset or reprogram the two, or even check what’s up, don’t have a lot of experience with coding on the octy but would give anything a go at this stage! Any help would be greatly appreciate!

Tried playing with the mirror knob to see if you can get them to go in and out a few times?

I tell a lie, once the car is started the mirror knob will fold and unfold the passenger side, but drivers side isn’t doing anything

Hey guys, i have the same problem, how did you solve it?

Motors in mirrors are crap, I replaced mine both under waranty after only one year, and after one year they start to make noise again that means they will die soon.

Do you know how much did it cost ?

No, didn't ask. I would also like to know because it looks  like its consumable part.

We are the only ones with this problem ? I couldn`t find this problem or fix anyware else.....

Plenty owners don't have it or don't use it.
