Fabia 1.6 105CR DPF pressure differential sensor location

Featured Replies

Please can someone confirm the Fabia 1.6 105CR DPF pressure differential sensor is located on the bulkhead just to the right of the engine cover (looking into the bay) and lower?

All the tech manuals I have indicate its on next to the coolant expansion tank but its not there.

The one on the bulkhead is pt# 059 906 051 C so i'm assuming this is it?

Interesting, the workshop manual shows it next to coolant tank...............maybe they moved it and forgot to update manual....

Location here also it seems......

Dunno how much the VAG one is, but it's obviously made by Bosch.....here it is on amazon

Not necessarily, the DPF itself may well be clogged, Halfords will clean it for £85 which is a very fair price.

Look at the image of one of these DPF pressure sensors in the amazon link in the post above your first one.  Find an item that looks the same in your engine bay, inspect it for obvious signs of damage as a first step.
