Hi all you MK3 owners. So having owned a 2011 Octavia VRS TSI for the last 4 years, I decided on a change. Only bought myself a quartz grey 2018 Octavia 230 VRS TSI. Only 3000miles on the clock, pick it up this Friday from a Skoda garage up north. So after Friday my signature at the bottom will change, hopefully for the better. Now I must keep more of an eye on all your MK3 posts. Give you my opinion of the new motor after driving it home. As per title, my name is of course, John. Still in the Skoda fold for a few years yet.

Well "snap" Maggle. It did not take very long before I spotted this car in this colour either, nice.

 

I notice you are in Oxfordshire, which part? Until recently I lived in Bicester but come from Oxford originally. What spec is your new car, which options does it have?

I live in Didcot Maggle. Spec I will know even more about when I pick it up, but I was happy with the 19inch wheels, heated seats and LED headlights, Nav etc. Those were the main ones I was looking for. If you get up Autotrader cars uk and look for a manual, 2018 VRS 230 in Chesterfield at £20250, all the info is there. It still is showing on the Autotrader web site. As usual with a new toy, can't wait to pick it up.

Yep, already had a look LOL. Looks nice, very similar spec to mine but yours is a hatch and has those lovely 19" Extremes. I invested in OBDEleven and have 'switched' on plenty of options that weren't there when I picked mine up. I'm sure you'll love it.
