Replaced window regulator unit and now my door won’t open and the airbag light has came up

Featured Replies

My window reguator went on me not long back, I went to a breaker and got a whole new unit for the door as it was easier than buying a new regulator and riveting it on. After finally getting the window spacers in and all the electrics plugged in, everything seemed fine, the door opened and closed, and the window worked. But once when I locked the car that’s when the issues arose, the door wouldn’t open up no matter what I tried and the air bag light on my dash popped up, so I was left climbing in through my passenger side door for about a week or two, then I decided to give it a go in a whim and it worked, I could lock my car and open it without an issue, then my window dropped and the spacers fell out, after going through the hassle of getting the window attatched again etc, my door has done the same thing again, not allowing me to open it at all, anyone had a similar issue or has any advice?
