Sat nav sd card

Featured Replies

Do I need a specific sd card for my 2016 yeti

Yes, you need a genuine VAG (VW or Skoda) branded card. If you don't have one, I have a few here I sell cheap to forum members.

Do you copy them yourself or are they genuine VAG?

If it's from Rusty, it'll be a genuine card.

For a 2016 Yeti, it'll be a MIB STD2 PQ headunit so the satnav data can be downloaded from Skoda for free, there is no need to copy or clone the card from an existing one :)

You can certainly trust Rustynuts to supply a genuine sd card. I recently bought one myself from him with the latest mapping on it, works perfect.

As said, they're genuine cards, and the maps data is free to download and install on a genuine card anyway. The ones I sell are essentially to provide a working card for people who have either lost theirs or bought a car without the sd card being supplied, or people who maybe are just scared to actually try and update the maps on their card and lose the nav functionality.
