In love again

Featured Replies

4 years ago I said goodbye to my Felicia 1996 1.3 with tears in my eyes.

I needed to recover from this pain and was car-less until last week.

And then I saw her... For sale!  A Felicia 1.3 mpi, 1999, 47000 km.

No servo, no central door locks. Perfect.....

VAG-COM questions are on it's way....

Best regards,

Maba

Oil and filter replaced directly the next day, after our "blind date" five days ago.....

A warm welcome to the Forum Maba !  Great photos too.  When I look back over my 55 years of motoring, there are a number of motors I wish I'd kept - but we must move on I suppose:wait:

Thanks Oldmansomerset.

I am just a kind of allround technican running around for 53 years on this globe. But to be honest I am a little skeptical about the way we move on in combination  with speed.

I think I know what you mean with "suppose", but sometimes I have the feeling we are slowly loosing control over what we are technical creating.

For the first time in my life I will have a (hobby) look at a ECU. I ordered a kkl 409.1 cable and have an old laptop with W7.

Greetings,

Just a little update.

Not even 6 months ago and almost drove 10.000 km.

I think I have had over 30 cars of different brands in my life.

The last 18 years Skoda (Favorit & Felicia).

This is my car.

If I was a millionair I would ask Skoda to blow the dust of the "imaginary" production line and build a Skoda Felicia 1.3 LX once again.

This car is a mix of well designed full proof technology combinated with  art.
