Best alloy, tyre combinations?

Featured Replies

Hi I'm looking for inspiration on picking my new alloys for my meteor grey 66 plate octavia vrs.

Any pics and advice would be most Appreciated.

Having a meteor grey vRS myself, I'd say go with either black with polished faces (the details get lost when all black, see pics below of my winter wheels) or go dark gunmetal or bronze...in 19 x 8 with an ET of about 35

Dark grey/gunmetal:

There's an aftermarket wheels thread which may help you.

I'm struggling to keep my wallet in my pocket every time I see Oz Superturismos on a lowered VRS in that thread

Couple of ideas on standard suspension. Gunmetal 7.5J x 18" TD with 225/40R18 Pirelli P Zero then 8.5J x 19" RS6 replica's with Michelin 235/35R19 PS4S.

Or just get your current alloys powder-coated in a different colour?

Might save you a few ££
