Ring Trip

Featured Replies

Leaving in about an hour & a half for my first Ring trip of the year, and my first trip in my new (03) Octavia vRS. Weather looks mostly wet, but warm(ish). If anyone's interested I'll post a trip report upon my return.

Will keep an eye out for you on the webcam. 2 weeks till my trip.

What date are you heading over Manny? I'm going over for the Easter weekend..

I was over in my red Fabia vRS. Had a great time playing on the GP track in the p***ing rain & then got in some good wet NS laps followed by some great dry laps Sunday evening. One of the best weekends I have had with loads of old familiar faces there. I saw a red OctyvRS but didn't see the driver. Was that you?

Only down side was how many Brits there were there in VERY expensive cars hardly going out & just blocking the car park. Saw 2 crashed Ferraris, a wrecked Noble, crashed Viper & totally destroyed Z4M.

Yes Steve that was me. I saw you at both circuits, in fact you parked almost beside me at the GP circuit, I was with the F360, GT3 boys....who thankfully don't fall into the next category....in fact these boys can drive, one of which laps well inside 9 mins.

Know what you mean about the slow fast car boys!!! The red 355 was a mess and sad to see.

Good weekend was had though......and that's me lot until late Oct.

You should have said hello. I spotted your car at the NS car park but couldn't see you around.

Only down side of the weekend for me is that I now have 2 front tyres with frightenly bald side walls. The Grand Prix track is great in the wet but way too agressive on road tyres & brakes in the dry.

Sorry Carsten couldn't make it. Maybe later in the year.
