Bad finish on wheels?

Featured Replies

Just looking at one wheel on my two year old vrs. No curbe damage on the wheel but not sure what has caused this? Can't feel anything with my finger nail so presumably a fault during manafacture?  Has definitely gotten worse over the last few weeks.

First time I have ever had this happen. So how would that have happened? Just ware and tare or a fault in manufacturing?

happens to most diamond cut/lacquered wheels eventually, best thing to do is keep clean and polish them regular to delay the process..

Yep, same on my extremes. Luckily lasted over 4 years before it happened.

Managed to get 2 wheels replaced on my wife's Twingo because of it.

If it's in warranty they should be replaced - either on the grounds it's a fault or not fit for purpose.

Feck it anyway that will drive me mad. I even had them coated in Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour
