Vacuum line

Featured Replies

Hi , I have a vacuum leak,  I need to replace the pcv valve and the line, if anyone can help with part number please.

And if possible where can I find on the net a repair manual.

Thanks

If you tell us the car details - age, model, engine - that will help narrow down your options.

My skoda is octavia 2004 mk1 1.8t, but I bought the car with AUH engine which I couldn't find any information about it , if it is 1.8 or more but turbo for sure.

Thank you

AUH prefix should make that a Turbo diesel power plant, are you sure you did not mean AUM?.

The engine is AJH

Thank you so much, I bought a used Octavia 1.8t mk1 2004 .

I have problems with high fuel consumption,  am trying to discover the problem.

According to what I see in YOUTUBE it might be the vacuum line

@Namrouqa - OK, is this the 150 or the 180 bhp tune? Has it been modified? What sort of fuel consumption are you getting?

Also It would help if you could fill in the car (eg Octavia vRS) and Location (just a country is fine; that information helps us to know what specification your car is).

AJH code should be 150bhp in stock form, unless the op confirms any form of mapping/performance goodies.

I don't much information about the engine,  but what I know it was bought from the duty free zone in Jordan, I don't think it was modified, it will run 100 km in 20 liter petrol.

@Namrouqa - Ok, that is a serious drink problem in highway use (it might not be if the car's only driven in town).

So checking service information. When were the spark plugs and engine oil last changed?

I did a major service when I bought less than a year ago, I changed the spark plugs and oil filter , I do drive another car mainly,  according to some YouTube clips it might be the pcv and vacuum line
