Strange thing has started happening with my Octavia vrs.

2012 1z vrs estate. 2.0tfsi. Ccza.

So where do I start.

This is very intermittent which makes it very hard and skoda garage near me say nothing is wrong. No codes or issues.

The car will just keep cranking but no revs show on the dial. (Crank sensor has been changed for genuine one.) Only does this when the abs and tpms lights dont go out and a warning noise is heard.

You can circle the ignition and sometimes it will start after, and other times it will keep accruing.

Only fault I can find with my cheaply launch reader is

01314 ecm no signal/communication.

Not sure how I can go forward. :(.

Plenty of modules are complaining about communication issues with the ECU.

Given that, you should probably check the wiring to the ECU (power, ground, CAN-bus), any fuses/relays that power the ECU and the ECU connector is in good condition. The relevant wiring diagrams can be downloaded for a small fee from Skoda here: https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz/erwin/showHome.do

If that all checks out, it could be the ECU that has problems. Various companies can check the ECU if you send it off.
