New Superb Scout

Spoken to my dealer and he seems to think it is do you have any evidence apart from a snippet on a website ? Fingers crossed.

Afraid it was from Autocar, quoting Skoda at the launch - not enough demand for an RHD version. Things can change, of course, but Skoda don’t shift many Superbs in total - only 7,500 sold across Europe in the month of March this year. That's probably close to the annual total in the UK.

Bet you to it, albeit a bit of a crap PS job if you ask me. Also included a candy red and what I guess Tangerine Orange would look like.

I've had quite a few Scout and non-Scout models over the years, and the Scout versions have been much cleaner, drier and with less corrosion than those without the underbody protection.   Yo

Not sure about UK sales but these figures are from Jan-Jun 2018 total worldwide sales of 652,700 broken down as follows.

210,700 Octavia.

105,300 Fabia.

101,400 Rapid.

77,900 Kodiaq.

74,100 Superb.

Obviously the Karoq was only being delivered during the early part of 2018 and no figures were available.:nerd:

On Škoda Czech site I noticed in configurator they have now available 2.0 TSI with 140kw... Looks promising! I also noticed the new lane change assist is no longer inside mirror but rather on side like Audi has.

As long as they haven't made the mirrors smaller. They're too damn small as it is!

That's where it is on the new Passat

Probably a good thing for safety, the existing small illuminated sign in the mirror isn't obvious unless you're looking directly at it, the new light should be much more obvious when seen out of the corner of your eye.

I was thought to check mirror before even giving turn signal to change lanes. Since the system is meant to warn you if some one is in your mirror's dead zone and not letting you skip checking mirror entirely,  I find it as good as it can get.  The new one is kind of wrong. It means some people won't even check mirror before changing lanes.

Of course people are supposed to check mirrors but they often don't, or have been watching cars behind and missed one catching up. Given that I think it's still safer to have a bigger warning light that's harder to miss.

Been searching , still no word on a UK Launch

Shame as it's quite possibly the best all rounder for my wants , needs and budget and it's look fab imho

I'd love an V90 Cross Country D5 PowetPulse AWD Ocean Race Edition with some nice options but I can dream , the price is eye watering ...........

Come on Skoda UK , #makeithappen

It's such a shame you can only have the rough road package in the UK on S & SE cars
