TT comp wheels on VRS, which tyre size?

A mate is going to fit a set of TT Comps to his VRS and was wondering if anyone has an idea what is the best tyre size?

He's thinking 205/45/17 but wanted to be sure.

On a fabia vrs 205/40/17 is the most suitable size.

The Standard tyre for the vRS is 205/45 16. If you used 205/45 17 they would obviously 1 inch bigger in diameter.  The best choice is to use 205/40 17, to give more accurate speedo and milometer readings, compared to standard tyres.

 

Edit: The tyres in the picture look the right size.
