Hi Hoping someone might be able to enlighten, I am trying to purchase new brake pads and discs for my SE TSI 85

Looking on Europarts using my number plate to locate parts BUT it says

"There is more than one choice of part for your vehicle. Please select the correct 'Brake Pads' by checking the 'Fitment Detail' tab."

https://www.eurocarparts.com/brake-pads

Does anyone know the correct size I need to purchase? Also I have been advised to go Mintex?

My cousin is going to change them for me, all I have to do is get the parts, and there's a 50% sale on today.....

Thanks in advance

On my old 1.9 Roomster it was a choice between Lucas and Teves. Mine was the former but the caliper type was written on the caliper. Can't you take a wheel off and have a look, also measure the disk diameter. You should be able to confirm which variant by the Fitment Detail on the EuroCarParts item description.

ECP usually list the PR data for the pads and discs on their site so check the build sticker.

@fabmichelle - The front caliper type will be literally cast into the outer face of the calipers; based on your link I'd guess "FS 111". If that's correct, there are 3 possible disc sizes, but they all take the same pad pattern.

And I'd have no issues with Mintex pads.

This page lists only two options for front brakes on a 2012 Roomy, 256mm discs or 288mm.  https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/roomster/ro/2012-699/6/

I'd suggest that yours (with that engine) will almost certainly be the 256mm, so the PR code will be 1ZG (within the fitment details tab on ECP, you'll see this code, or others listed). This code may well not be there on the build data sticker, but have a look anyway, as confirmation is always nice.

By the way, ECP virtually never don't have crazy discount offers on, so there's never really any hurry to purchase anything.
