Parrot CK3000 Bluetooth handsfree kit

Featured Replies

I have a Skoda Otavia L&K with the skoda Symphony stereo. Can anyone tell me if the CK3000 is compatible to plug into the stereo and utilise the speakers?

Hi,

I haven't actually used this device but from what I understand it basically 'intercepts/hijacks' the speaker output, meaning it doesn't as much control the head unit as stops sound from reaching the speakers (outputting the caller instead). It has its own ISO adapter (I believe) that connects between you stereo and speakers (in the space behind the head unit).

If someone knows different, please feel free to correct me :D

P.S. Amazon UK do this unit for

Yes, it has a couple of male / female ISO adaptors which plug in between the ISO connectors of the car and the head unit. It uses the mute cable to cut the sound coming from the radio and then drives the speakers itself with the sounds from your caller. You can read the manual here ;)

I've just bought it and installed it into my fabia vrs.

I'll take some photos and try and do a review when I have some time

So far, it seems to be working very well :)

I've installed a CK3000 on my Superb. The quality of the sound in the car is excellent but, on the other side, is a massive echo. The mike is placed, as Parrot indicated, on the dashboasrd, near the left rear view mirror. The radio system on my car is a Skoda Symphony, there were no problems during installation, all the cables fitted ok with the car radio system.

I've asked to Parrot to assist me in this problem but still no answer. If somebody knows a solution for this problem....

How did you manage to fit it into the Fabia VRS tfboy cos I have one and am a bit scared of putting it into my new car cos I don't want to damage any of the dash. Getting the unit in is ok but not sure about where or how to put the mic and control buttons in.

i think you get echo cos the mic is too close to the tweeter... try moving it up to the sun visor!

i got a parrot through work in the van and a nokia in the car that i bought personally. nokia everytime i'm affraid. parrot is all right and i wouldn't mind it if i hadn't had the nokia but the nokia is a lot more reliable with better sound quality and its a lot more discreet where the parrot has a big screen(seemed cool at first but in fact just kinda gets in the way)
