cruise control

Featured Replies

has anyone retro fitted cruise control to an octavia 1.4 2004 model,

:dtp:

I know you can retrofit to some models, sadly I dont think the 1.4 is one of them.

Is it DBW? If not you can't do it.

it's not recommended due to engine strain but i see no reason why it wouldn't work.

So what can you retro fit it to? I know I could have done my 130 TDi Golf, but I've got a vRS Octy Estate now - any chance?

Ben

any chance you could let me know how to do VRS mk1,

i have access to vag 5051/1552 and relevent wiring diagrams, as gaff has a mate

looking for it to be done.:auto:

There is an excellent guide on Foxy's website available via our Links section here. Petrol-engined Octavias lack the necessary wiring between the back of the fusebox and the ECU so you will need to fabricate a loom for this purpose.
