Sound actuator? The speaker seems to be located somewhere there, as the fake sound seems to be coming from exhaust area.

Looks like the intake of one of these, but not quite as fast or loud!

I thought that the sound was generated electronically via the cars sound system / speakers?

EDIT: I think you're right, I just found this...

"So far, Skoda has tried to hide the rattle of its diesels from its Octavia RS TDI drivers by using a kind of speaker in the cabin. But this is different, like the Audi SQ7, the Kodiaq RS is designed with a fake exterior sound as well, which works in RS or Individual driving modes."

Not just. Thre is loud sound coming out from the rear. One TNT guy even asked me one day if I have V8 under the bonnet :))

Looks like the port for the sound actuator. Similar to how subwoofers usually have ports to let air move freely.

Yeah my wife says she can hear me pulling up in the back lane (which is 120ft from the house and we have double glazing).

My VRS is loud.  It really does sound meaty.
