Where are you getting this information? Any links?

A SSP on the EA189 2.0l engine suggests it has a 81.0mm bore and 95.5mm stroke. Using those figures gives a total 1968.4cc capacity so it seems plausible.

 

Darkside look to do 0.25mm and 0.5mm oversized pistons for the CR 2.0l, assuming that's the total increase in piston diameter:

- A 0.25mm rebore would increase it the bore to 81.25mm, therefore it would become a 1980.6cc engine.

- A 0.5mm rebore would increase it the bore to 81.5mm, therefore it would become a 1992.8cc engine.

Do you mean the minimum overbore and pistons to get to 2001cc?

Assuming the pistons exist and the block can take it, in theory a 0.75mm rebore would give a 2005.0cc engine...

 

What are you actually trying to achieve?

On the offchance that OP is talking about thousands of inches, 25 thous is 0.635 mm. Going up by this gets you to 1999.4 cc.

Is your engine worn out or are you considering an oversize rebore for more power?

if it is the latter you won’t notice the difference other than the hole in your bank account.
