miss my octy--- watching Fifth gear...

Featured Replies

tis sad to miss a car....

but must admin to 2 things having watched FG races repeat...

1: love the fact that Tiff needed a v10 500+ hp gallardo to be 0.5 secs quicker round anglesey than the mighty octy....

2: how dare they refer to Schuey as the redbaron. (im sure he would be equally miffed)

:D

still have got a new car today...

i could also have said that to beat my octy with a haldex required a lambo v10 engine swap... but that may have been incitement to riot....

Is it a hearse.

You should have got a right hand drive one

i was quite miffed that i sold my e class.... but i guess the amg stuff makes up for it...

Diesel eh.Comes to us all as we get older. At least its wrapped up in a nice looking car.

The F1/M5 race put a few things in perspective:eek:

The F1/M5 race was totally pointless IMHO. Blatent BMW advert.

was a bit of a recreate of the old mb one with the a class and coulthard....

Oooo...guess what I've been looking at...albeit in estate form. ;)

Not working for Mercedes per chance are you Paul?

Have you bought a Merc then Paul, or is it a company loaner?

Just can't see you in a hard top diesel powered car.

Cool...may be in contact in the near future. ;)

Out of interest how do you rate the 2.2 diesel and does the sports suspension make a big difference to the handling? Cheers.

Love those 17'' alloys which come with the sports pack.

Do Merc still make the c320 sport coop cdi-AMG?

rekon that would be quite a tool.. especially if they chip as well as the modern ones :D

Yep, but not in this country at the mo. By all accounts it was a monster even as standard  Biggest they do here is the 270, chips very nicely indeed :D

You can get a 320cdi normal C class, estate or saloon. With all these run out "sport" versions you could get a c320cdi one and badge it as a 200cdi, then chip it - now that would be fun! :D

Followed a C320 CDI down the A34 this afternoon....if you know the A34 going towards Winchester...lots of inclines.

Quick car....auto helps with the torque.....couldn't shake me enough though and if there was less traffic I'd been off. ;):D

Had boost controller set half way and was well pleased with the way it performed....trip comp said I got 37mpg for a 250mile journey to Birmingham and back.

Must be getting old...can't remember anyone passing me.;)
