Anyone had a remap 280 4x4 ?

Featured Replies

I'm not from the UK so I have my own local (very big VAG and BMW tuning company, also other large brands) tuner who did my DSG + TCU tune and now it is at 283 kw / 379 bhp. Went from 5.8 -> 4.7s 0-100km/h but those numbers are with a full tank, my 140kg (310 pounds) body and my 40kg dog crate in the back and not the best condition Michelin PS4's.

Realistically I reccon the time could probably be another ~0.4 seconds better.

  • A friend of mine had his 280 Sportline remapped to 350HP and ~460Nm 😍 about 1 year ago. He's really happy with it and the sleeper effect! He also made it remapped to enable flex fuel utilization.

  • Hi @penguin17 the map is customized as it does not derive from REVO or APR or other already prepared. I can't tell you how it was done, you should ask Lorenzo @ Adrenalinachiptuning.it. For calibrat

  • Custom stage 1 completed today and it’s grins all the way 😀😀😀

Thanks. Only looking at Stage 1. Also I’m in Oz.

I have a MY21 Sportline and I’ve heard some tuners have cracked the new ECU on these newer cars yet?

MY21 VAG ECU's (Cupra Ateca, Formentor, Volkswagen Arteon / Golf, Skoda Superb etc) have not been cracked yet so can't really be properly tuned. This was feedback when a friend wanted to get his Formentor tuned.

With 4 additional adults in car, lets say alltogether 480kg, we did 5.1s on bad Bridgestone's which are not good as PS4 ir PS4S.

At that time I did 4.4-4.5s alone, so 400kg for 0.6-0.7s.

Blimey! So when you say low torque map, does this mean a DSG remap is not required?

Correct.  I eventually went high torque on stage 1 without it too, before deciding ecu stage 2 needed me 👍

Yes I had heard this also. Do you know how long ago your friend tried?

283kW is this stage 1?  If so that’s impressive for a stage 1 tune and probably the highest power figures I’ve seen from a stage 1 tune on a superb.

Matter of a few weeks at most, so very very recent.

Yes, stage 1 ECU and TCU tune. Further tunes not worth it considering the current mileage (nearly 100k miles) on it.
