Dropping the Felicia lower dash assembly.

Featured Replies

I'm hoping to be a Felicia owner very shortly.

I plan to remove the radio and the Ashtray, and mould in a 7" screen in a spare lower dash assembly.

But having owned a Favorit in the past and knowing removing anything behind the dash was a 1/2 day job, is dropping just the lower part on a Felicia any easier? can it be removed seperatly from the top?

cheers all.

i've seen a screen installed before in a felicia, in the manner you are saying. Once the radio is out, and the ashtray, its kinda a job more of trimming down, i take it you want ot take off the dash so that you can work on it??, or do you just wannnt to take off the lower bit

Preferably just the lower part. because I know that they are very well secured to get the top half out.

I was hoping that there might have been an easier option.

I've found on the online ETKA site that the lower half is seperate. I just wondere dif it could be removed without having the take off the full top.

at the back of the shifting rod there will be a rectangular plastic cover like in between the handbrake and the shifter lift that from the sides with a flat screw driver under it u will find a screw just take it out and pull u will have to take off the shifter rod head thats the one with the gears numbers on it :D thats it no more screws hope i helped

The whole lot has to come out. It's not that bad a job, once all the other front-loading stuff is out (clocks, etc), then a few nuts in the engine bay and screws inside the car and it'll come out.
