Rear brake caliper

Featured Replies

Needing a rear brake caliper as mine has partially seized, Euro Car Parts is about £60-£70 (exchange).. But noticed that Ebay sell them a lot cheaper.. Has anyone bought an Ebay one before, Is the quality of them any good, Or should i just stick to ECP.. Thanks..

@Doofy - Er, the brake calipers are the only things between you and a crash. Is it worth trying to save a few quid on them?

Good point,  I'll stick to ECP.

The Pagid reman calipers from Euros are just fine.

if the brand is the same and they are cheaper on ebay why not order via ebay.

Because FleaBay is a known source of Chinese fake products.

Yes fitted some recently, €60 a pair delivered in 72 hours from China. No exchange or surcharge.

Perfect quality and I know what I was comparing them to as I have stripped the OE ones to fit seal kits to which I also ordered but from Europe this time.

ECP will be buying from the cheapest Chinese supplier that they can find.

Depends on the seller. I bought new rear calipers for my car on eBay, been on about 3/4 years now I think. Can't remember the seller though.

Also bear in mind how bad PayPal can be to deal with if anything goes wrong with the transaction - in general I now prefer to buy/pay direct.
