Hello have problem with my Skoda Octavia 2016 Diesel.

 

Fobs not working and when I switch on ign there is no light in dashboard. And car will not start.

 

I checked all the fueses and battery in fobs. Battery up to charge.

 

And I check the bus wiring on the driver side floor, its ok.

 

Any ideas?

Sounds like something to do with the immobiliser maybe. Although not sure why fobs don't work it that's the case.

Had the exact same thing with a Renault years ago and it turned out to be the reciever for the central locking which also handled the immobiliser.

Yes. If my research is right the immobiliser is in the dashboard / cluster. ?

Does the small red led light on the fob flash when you press the buttons?

 

Yes the fob is fine. Have checked the signal from it with tester.
