@pab567 My dads radio has stopped picking up DAB radio for some reason. The option has just disappeared from the menu screen...

 

I'm wondering if a firmware update would fix this?

 

It's a Skoda Octavia Scout it's a 2015 model. The system settings on the the radio say:

Device Number: 5E0035020D

Hardware: 443

Software: 0370

 

Can this be updated at all? And is there anything odd about this hardware/software version on this model car at all? I find it odd that the radio has worked since 2015 and now is picking up zero DAB?

Keep in mind that SW upgrade does not bring any new features neither it enables existing but locked features (e.g. SmartLink).

Do you have an Update for my colombus? If there is an option to make it show Hebrew letters instead weird squares in my Superb 2017.

I had Octavia 2018 with the flat touchscreen and it shows Hebrew letters very well.

This is not Columbus, this is Bolero. I will PM link. As far as I remember Hebrew is available since MY18 which runs on SW 04xx (e.g. 0478). But updating from yours to 0478 requires unit to be open and soldered :(

If i long press on Car button it opens an hidden menu with android and tv etc.
