Pagid disks - rust

Replaced all the crappy OEM disks with Pagids from ECP.  Well a couple of months in and the front hubs are rusting away and in no time will look like the hubs of the old disks. I made the mistake of washing the car and not driving it for some time due to an injury, so that didn't help.

 

Be warned people, if going with ECP again I would try the Bosch or Brembo instead.

The only way you will get discs to not rust is to get some custom stainless ones 

 

I always paint mine black along with the calipers, job done.

ATE proposes a set with ceramic treatment and combined with pads. I’ve read it doesn’t rust and doesn’t make this brown breaking dust. Thus, wheels look clean way much longer... All that without ruining performance. May be worth testing...

I wouldn't, the Brembo discs I bought from ECP were not any better.

I had this issue and replaced disks painted them with high temp exhaust paint 4 months ago and still looking good

I had coated brembos for mine, it is an option. They were great and now have Zimmerman sport drilled and coated and they are even better
