How tinted are the windows?

No bubbles at all, but I would like a tiny bit more visibility from the inside. I mean, it's ok, but on a cloudy day or at night it could be better. Maybe a shade lightr film would be better (this one is LATI 15, maybe LATI 35 would be better choice).

Darker windows may well look better in the daylight - but are positively dangerous when driving in the hours of darkness.

It's always better to only have to have it done the once! ;)

Mines fairly dark - I've got the sleep pack, so sunset glass + window shades.

I like that.

I regretted not tinting Kodiaq number 1, but I’m now going to tint number 2.

The OEM tint is disappointing. Looks naff. Our Polo is much darker as standard. As are many other makes.

I’ve  had several tinted cars over 20+ years. May leave the tailgate standard, or go for medium as I recognise that reversing in a dark, wet winter’s night can be tricky.

That’s them sorted now.

i like that! really dark - looks like a good job 👍

The biggest complaint I got on my previous car from the kids was the rear windows were too dark and they couldn’t see out enough, especially in low light.   They hated them but as they were factory tint there wasn’t much I could do about it, they much prefer the lighter tint on the Kodiaq.

The level of the tint makes no difference to the amount of UV light that gets in, so personally I’m happy with the lighter tint as it keeps the kids happy as they can see out which makes spotting things much easier.

This is mine which is the standard rear in sunset glass. Had the front windows done to match as well as looks half done otherwise in my opinion.

Helps security wise as you can't see what is inside from outside but you can hardly tell from the inside as they are not that dark. Very similar to my previous cars which all had this as standard too, Golf, Passat and VRs Octavia.
