Lightswitch illumination

Featured Replies

I recntly got my car back from a valet. My car is an L&K and has the full auto adaptive lights. I leave it in auto all the time and while driving in different conditions I'll notice the different light stages illuminating green on the lightswitch.....sidelights,,,,,dipped. Since getting the car back, the dipped marking will not light up on the switch.........even when I put the switch onto the dipped position (the dipped lights are coming on)

Any thoughts on this........I think I've gone through all the settings in the manual to check if someone has changed something.

On mine I’ve done the ‘enable rear DRL’ adaptation and my switch shows green on side, dipped and auto all the time. Not sure if this helps but thought I’d mention it incase you’ve done any mods.

I had the rear DRL's enabled at the dealers in April when I collected the car.......this new behaviour has just started on Friday.

Thats because the number plate light is lit, the Auto light switch thinks your head lights are on. My 245 did the same but it's been recoded so my number plate light isn't lit with just the front/rear Drl's are on, once the dipped headlights come on so does the number plate light. Do you have little submarine lights in the ca ?, they are little spotlights shining down onto the gear leaver, these will also be lit.
