Travel Mode

Featured Replies

So I know what travel mode is, thanks to the topics in here somewhere.

But now that I've been playing around with all my settings I don't know if travel mode should be ticked or not in the UK.

It was ticked when I opened the menu, but the car has been in Europe a fair bit...

Should my UK spec car, have travel mode ticked or unticked?

Thanks folks

If car was originally build for UK market - then travel mode needs to be "ticked" when you leave UK and unticked in the UK.

To make sure you've set it correctly - wait till it's dark, park in front of the wall and for UK it should be \_\_ and for EU _ _ or _/ _/

Thanks for that. That makes complete sense.

Seems I was driving with the beams pointing the wrong way!!

You'd think it would change the beam pattern but unfortunately there is no hardware in the headlight of a MK2 Superb that can achieve that...

Instead, it'll will:

- disable most the AFS functionality (apart from dynamic levelling)

- move the headlights down (and slightly right)

You can see the movement on a LHD Passat here so the move left not right)
