ok guys, i have tried to pull the coil pack out but its stuck solid even with the proper tool.

 

any help please?

Failing that, hook the tool in and then lever on the bottom of the tool.

 

Failing that, admit defeat in changing spark plug and ask a tame mechanic to do it for you.

Stand on a stool or something so you can get a better angle to pull straight up. Keep your arm straight and use your legs.

i will have another go after my dinner, i will stand on the car and see if that would do the trick.

Perhaps you should consider wearing a full face Helmet or better still a Welders Helmet.:bandit:

il just take extra care, will come back in few minutes to update.

You want to use a little smear of Dielectric Grease before putting ignition coils back on the new plugs,

rum4mo said not to so i just put them in without putting anything on the thread.

sorry he said not to put anything on the spark plugs but what is this thing what you put on the coil?

It was not for the thread, not the thread into the head anyway.

 

Have you checked the gap on the plugs coming out, what are they?

then check the new plugs preset gap.

yeah i did check, the gap on the new plugs are slightly smaller then the ones i took out.

That is as it should be, why you are changing them.

So what is the correct gap they should be at?  Not a trick question, i have no idea.

just found out it should be 0.8
