Yellow blobs bleeding on infotainment screen

Featured Replies

Hi all

I've recently purchased a new 2019 Octavia Vrs and noticed that when I get to low fuel and the car bongs and warning triangle appears on dash I also get the infotainment showing the alert next to the picture of the car.  However I get a weird shaped yellow blob of colour over the bonnet for low washer fluid and yellow blob over passenger door when low on fuel. Anyone else seen this

Thanks

Julian

I had a similar discoloured screen on my Superb and it was replaced under warranty.

Ah, so no worries then, thought they may say I've damaged it.

Cheers for prompt reply

Yes, and it is a feature. It depicts the location of the washer fluid and fuel tanks, respectively.

Oops!

Maybe I was not reading the question correctly?

Have you got some photos @MrJoolz?

:) Yeah, it's supposed to depict the fuel tank to indicate that the fuel level is low.

as above, and if you have a headlight out as an example, it will highlight which headlight too.
