  • A perfect car for the old narrow backstreets with it’s giggle inducing turning circle........and those ‘mirrors’ actually seem to work well.

  • Don't get me wrong - I like the exterior design (massively better than Honda's recent work - witness the Civic).  However, the interior is a bit 'meh' for me (I don't like the dash and huge expanse of

apologies - I misread that info...   your right George!

I can see it selling to the locals in villages and cities of Italy and France if only for it’s turning circle.

Obviously a future classic.

& i just see it looking a bit like a Mk2 Fabia Monte Carlo.

But then i just need specs for reading and not looking at cars for reviews.

Thomas ignoring the wood imitation that we have heard about before,

those muppets that kick doors open.  Do designers never notice that?

I hope the door handles are all good in Winter Conditions.  Or much cheapness to replace.

With incentives - £25,100 on road UK..........says Johnny.

My wife loved the look of the concept. If it had 3 rear seats, sized for children, I think we'll end up replacing the Leaf with this car.

Range is not really an issue, you'll not be driving 100 miles in the city. 100 miles is almost 2 hours driving, good enough for occasional long trips. Only tangible issue related to a car is its charging speed, whether it can get back to 80% in 30min. Real issue is the rapid charging infrastructure.

does it have E-tec

Rapid charging or just charging infrastructure for those wanting a City car or car for local journeys will be a location location location thing.

Then as to EV Grants and Charger Grants again location location location.

6 years interest free loan in Scotland when 'buying an EV', more help for a van / business users.

Bring on those pop up home charge points akin to parking meters.

They are being trialed in Dundee & Plymouth, so lets see how pavement clearing and kerbside clearing of snow and ice works out at there locations / parking spaces when there is a bit of snow and ice.

Maybe more of an issue in Dundee than in Plymouth.

Maybe there can be solar panels at the location to provide electricity to heat the head of the pop up charger / surface of pavement or just good old electricity from the mains if snow is covering the solar panels.

If that price is right it looks a bit more palatable and inline with things like the Peugeot e-208 (or whatever it is going to be called).  The figure I'd seen was closer to £35k for the Honda in the UK.

2nd car discussed.   Price discussed and range.

Michelin Pilot Sport and the (staggered) wide rear 17's are going to make a difference.

^^^ I wonder if he even noticed that the Honda e Advance with 17" rims & the other cars with 16" rims comes with staggered tyres. (wider at the rear), or maybe that Media car does not have them.  Quite important to owners / drivers when it come to replacing tyres or thinking of rotating them.... Don't bother!
