I want to tint the rear windows of my car, what % tint is usually on the Octavia from factory?

Dont want to go too dark. I saw a RS which looked to have what I wanted, but I saw a Soleil (Irish) special edition which seemed to have darker tint. 

Anyone got any ideas?

Factory tint isn't that dark with the sunset privacy glass, I'd say 35%-40%. I went 20% on mine and it's perfect in my opinion. Definitely darker than the factory tinted option. It's dark, but you can still see out if sat in the back. From the outside you can only just about see in.

Government rules help not one bit for rear windows and rear screens though as the world is your oyster or dark place if you want.

You also have to consider what your insurer will allow.  If the car doesn't come with tinted windows as standard it's classed as a modification.  I had my rear windows tinted last year and my insurer at the time wouldn't allow it but when I changed insurer a few months later I asked if it would be ok and got the thumbs up.  If you fit tints and don't declare it the insurer may use this against you in the event of a claim.  Worth thinking about.
