Skoda felicia 1999 1.3 mpi

Featured Replies

Hi again in previous posts I ask question about when stuck in traffic after a few minutes  temprature gauge rises and fan comes on . I've checked for water loss, none, no mayo in oil  or under filler cap What I have noticed today is when temp is showing normal no problems but when temprature starts to get above normal water starts to enter expansion tank via bottom pipe on it. It is more than a drip it enters at a fair rate of knots I don't know wether this is normal . I might be wrong and would appreciate comments on this thread

Well, that's what the expansion tank is there for, hence the name!

More to the point, does it actually lose water?

@Stranraer

Double and triple posting the same issue will not help. You got all the answers in your first topic.

Naming the topic using something meaningful will help too. Some people will search for specific clues based on the topic title. A topic named "Skoda felicia 1999 1.3 mpi" doesn't help at all. The type of the car, the type of the engine, and the year of manufacture are details that should be filled in your profile. See my profile to the left as an example.
