Just joined today - and already grabbed LOADS of useful info for my Fabia...

Can anyone advise me how much I might be looking at to get a dealer to sort out this apparently common problem with the heating system allowing you hot, hot or hot temperature settings? Sadly vehicle now out of warranty.

Also, any ideas on the cost of a replacement vent for the front console? I broke one of the vanes when fitting a mobile phone holder Have found instructions for replacement, but nothing about cost...

If you post a question asking if someone in your area has VAG COM they might be nice enough to sort it for you in exchange for a couple of beer tokens,

Cant help you with the vent i'm afraid, maybe a local scrapper could help?

Should the VAG-COM reset not work then you'll probably need a new motor or two. I think the motors are circa £80 each but it's a fairly labour intensive job.

As said above if you can let us know where you are then maybe someone can help.
