Hello again everyone,

 

My car is listed as lacking this feature:

"6U0 Additional dust seals: Without additional seals outside"

 

If there's a PR code listing the lack of these so-called "additional dust seals" I imagine there are cars out there with them installed as well. So far I haven't seen one with them, online catalogs don't list them, and yet, it seems like the doors have the provisions for having them fitted, if these little holes are where the mounting clips go. 

 

As per the title, if there are any part numbers, I'd like to know them to order the necessary parts. Car gets quite a bit of wind noise at speed and if these seals help, that would be nice.

Pretty sure that ''additional seals outside'' refers to a part that looks like this at the front of the door...

Hmm interesting. Never seen that part in the flesh. I guess the only way to get better insulation in my case  would be installing D type or any applicable rubber seals around the doors like I've seen done on Citigos and such.
