I know, I know, bloody stones. I would still go if we got the numbers.

I'd certainly go again, though I wouldn't be able to come in a Skoda as I don't possess one any more. ;)

I remember that day, was a good laugh. I'd be up for it again

Yep, Id be up for it.

I'd be up for coming along again, but wont be taking my car on the track.

Last time was excellent, the weather was gorgeous, apart from the sunburn the next day :thumbup:

Last time was excellent, the weather was gorgeous, in fact, it was nearly as gorgeous as I looked with my handbag[/b']:thumbup:

I think there are some photos somewhere ;)

I'd definitely be up for it again - was brilliant in that:

a) was a track day for all - including nervous novices;

B) not intimidating - i.e. not lots of caterfields etc on track;

c) open for all to come along even if you didn't want to go on track; and

d) everyone was social with no "look at me" attitude.

Excellent

Well Mr. Walkie,

1. Clean car.

2. Take everything you don't need out of the car (flying objects in a crash)

3. Fill the car with fuel.

4. Book onto trackday.

5. PAY MONEY and DON'T IGNORE THE ORGANIZER.

6. Turn up on the day.

7. Get ribbed about hand luggage.

8. Sign on.

9. Attend drivers brief.

10. Don't forget your bash hat and license.

11. Follow the pace car and learn the racing line.

12. Don't overtake DaveU as he gets embarrassed.

13. Thrash the car to within an inch of it's life.

14. Don't forget to smile for the camera.

15. Take the p*** out of everone.

16. Let the car cool down before switching off, don't apply the hand brake after a session.

17. Stop shaking before you go out again.

18. Scare the life out of your passenger.

19. Take the p*** some more.

20. Have a Bengie burger.

21. Check your tyre pressure and wheel nuts after every session.

22. Have loads of fun, you will never forget it.

Sounds good!

10) ncarring - late as usual

Given what the surface it like, would it be worth investing in a car bra? Or would a tarpaulin shut in the bonnet work just as well ?

I've not had any stone chips - just wears LOTS of rubber off your tyres and if you're running semi-slicks, embeds hundreds of little stones in them.

So budgeting for a complete set of tyres and pads is a good idea then  ?

Call it half a set of tyres - pads, no, should be fine.
