Looks like  there at it again, standard equipment becoming a option....

According to the November Pricing and Spec PDF...

Know for sure that my face lift L&K has got them, however looking at the October Pricing and spec PDF  this wasn't even a option. Pre face lift they were standard I believe on the L&K's? (mine was 3 years old though so this might have changed)

I'll be keeping them for my new car, but can't see anyone speccing them at £85!

Unless you sit in the back I guess they're a superfluous thing anyway. Even if you do sit in the back, are they used?

What on earth is a `Lounge Step`?

Lounge step is basically a foot rest. Nonsense really and of very limited use IMHO. 

Probably the more useless option you can get on a Superb
