Hello again?

Hello again (I reckon).

Couldn't get in with username, password, but with email and password site welcomed me as a new member but also threw up my old username??????

Oh well......

Anyway, got an old Fabia SDI aka "The Slug" that just goes on and on and on and on...... complete with its permanently disappeared NSF door window (perspex sheet and ally tape for several years now) and central locking with a mind of its own (to open tailgate, first open OSR door, the only one the interior light works from) and other intermittent foibles.

All good fun (or not, occasionally).

Hello Herald 👋

Sounds like you Furby has a bit of life experience and character 😎

I had a rear window broken decades ago.  Managed to last three days before I couldn't cope any more with the plastic make do and mend.  Your resolve is clearly better than mine!

A warm welcome back to the Forum !  I use 2mm perspex in lieu of glass in various applications but have not tried it instead of car window glass.  No reason why it shouldn't work as the aeroplane chaps use it.  Could be an MOT issue if they are very fussy🙄
