Does any one know the size of the brake disc size for the 2 liter diesel at all? Mine has the dsg box with the 2 liter diesel non vrs engine.

Usually 288mm, but you may have to check.

Yes, should be 253 rear but again you may have to check.

Yes but for many things the 4x4 is a whole different animal to the standard 2.0 TDi

Yes, you’re right, it is different in many ways. I was supplied the wrong size rear discs, even though I informed parts supplier it was 4x4, probably worth measuring if possible.

Either take the rear disc PR code directly from the sticker in the spare wheel well...

mine doesent have the pr codes in the spare wheel well! 😞

Wooden coat hangers cheap enough from any Ikea superstore and on the other point presumably Bill Clinton must be on the banned list as he is likely to leave personal stains on items of women's clothing not belonging to his wife (according to Monica alledgedly).

Does anyone know the minimum thickness for 288 front and 253 rear?  Fronts start new at 25mm and rear 10mm. Need to measure them yet but it would be good to know the limit before hand so I can measure them more accurately if borderline. Then I know how much I need to panic.
